Welcome
This is the ‘landing page’ that introduces you to the ShelbyGuy site. Here you can see some nice full screen images of the Shelby and the Daytona Cobra Coupe, which are replaced infrequently. You can also subscribe to the site for updates & you can ask a question or leave a comment. Both are most welcome!
ShelbyStories
This is where the most frequent updates and content changes are located. This is a good place to start poking around, and there’s plenty of content to see and read. Be sure to check the Index for blog titles if you’re looking for something specific.
Gallery
This is a display of assorted photos of both of my Shelby automobiles.
1966 Shelby G.T. 350
This is self-explanatory, but note that there are two more tabs beneath the 1966 Shelby G.T. 350 tab: Shelby Engine and Shelby Elements, where you’ll find information and details about ’66 Shelbys.
Daytona Cobra Coupe
Like the above, there are additional tabs beneath the Daytona Cobra Coupe tab: Daytona Engine, Daytona Elements, and CSX2299 – A Genuine Daytona. Here you’ll find several details about the Daytona replica along with some great detail photos of one of the real Daytona Coupes.
...and under the Welcome tab...
About
This tab ‘splains the who, what, and why of this website. It also describes the reasons that enthusiasts like me are attracted and passionate about Carroll Shelby and his incredible automobiles and accomplishments. There is, however, another tab here called the ShelbyGuy Vault. Pokin’ around in there will give you a flavor for what we do with these cars and where we go. Because they are so much fun to drive, we make sure we give each one plenty of sunshine, fresh air, high-test, and redline verification!
Carroll Shelby
Here is where I pay homage to Carroll Shelby, his accomplishments, and where I relate a story about my interaction with The Man, along with a few photos.
Peter Brock
Here's another backgrounder on my friend, Peter Brock.
ShelbyGuy Vault
This area is where I've stored a number of photos, typically not seen anywhere else on the ShelbyGuy website.
Enjoy your (I hope many!) visits! And thank you for stopping by!
