Coffee & Cars is a monthly, 'first Saturday', car show at the Peninsula Center in Rolling Hills Estates, California.
Peninsula Seniors, a community organization, hosts the show [www.pvseniors.org].
This free monthly event invites folks to bring your hot rod, custom, muscle car, sports car, antique, classic, exotic, or other special interest car or truck, or just yourself to the Peninsula Shopping Center, at Hawthorne Boulevard & Silver Spur Road.
What's very cool about this show is that it changes every month because they have a "feature" each month. For instance, they'll highlight Chevys one month, Convertibles another month, or Fords, then perhaps followed by Pony Cars, or Muscle Cars another month. Those featured cars park in the middle of the show area. The changing landscape and assortment of cars is what makes it unique and interesting because there's always something new or different every month, among the regular 'usual suspects'.
What is also very cool, is that the show runs from 7:30AM to 9:00AM...an hour and a half! It doesn't use up your entire day (as most shows do!), and it's easy to drive in and to drive out (ya can even leave early if ya like!). How's that for convenience!
Shelby cars are featured each October (it's become a tradition!), so of course the LA Shelby Club is always there in force.
